Faktu

Faktu is a Spanish invoicing platform I am building with Alejandro Bolado. Companies and self-employed professionals can manage their invoicing and adapt to VeriFactu, with the first obligations taking effect on 1 January 2027. I work on the product experience, management flows and the challenge of explaining a complex regulatory change clearly.

The starting point

VeriFactu requires companies and self-employed professionals to rethink how they issue and record invoices: from 1 January 2027 for companies and from 1 July 2027 for everyone else. Adapting should be understandable, even for people who do not want to spend time interpreting regulations.

Create a management platform that makes everyday work easier and helps users prepare for the implementation dates, with clear invoicing flows and a straightforward transition to VeriFactu.

My role

As a co-founder, I lead design and product decisions with Alejandro Bolado: from invoicing and management flows to information hierarchy and launch strategy.

The team

What I built

  • A dashboard designed for companies and self-employed professionals to manage invoicing in one place
  • Guided flows that reduce the complexity of adapting to VeriFactu
  • An information hierarchy that explains what changes first, then how to address it
  • A direct sign-up and access flow without unnecessary steps

Outcome

A live invoicing platform at faktu.org, built to help companies and self-employed professionals manage their day-to-day work and prepare for VeriFactu.
